The Premier League Season Just Started. Your PS5 Still Looks Like Everyone Else's.

Subumi Arsenal-themed PS5 console skin, precision-cut fan art design

Kickoff was August 21. Most consoles didn't get the memo.

The 2026/27 Premier League season opened on Friday, August 21 — a week later than usual, pushed back to give players more rest in an increasingly packed international calendar. Whatever the reason, fixtures are back, the group chats are back, and for a lot of households the PS5 or Xbox parked under the TV is about to see a lot more use over the next nine months.

It's also, unsurprisingly, still wearing the same matte black or white shell it shipped in. Every console looks the same until you tell it otherwise.

A skin isn't a jersey. It's the console.

Subumi's football range is precision-cut vinyl for the exact console model you own — PS5 Standard or Slim, Digital or Disc — with matching skins for the DualSense controller. These are original fan-art designs built around club identities, not licensed merchandise, so don't expect an official crest or club endorsement anywhere on the packaging. What you get instead is a high-gloss finish over 100–120 micron bubble-free polymeric vinyl with a polymeric overlaminate on top — the layer that actually absorbs scratches, UV, and handling wear, so the print underneath doesn't fade or scuff.

Two real examples already live on the site: the Arsenal console skin with a matching DualSense skin, and the AC Milan console skin, both cut for PS5 Standard and Slim in Digital and Disc. More clubs sit in the wider football range.

Five steps, no heat gun — unless it's a controller

Console skins go on flat, so no heat is involved.

  • Wipe the console down with a dry microfibre cloth. Nothing wet, no cleaning spray — moisture is the enemy of a bubble-free application.
  • Peel the backing in one motion, don't rush it.
  • Align to the ports and vents before you commit — camera cutouts, buttons, the works are cut to your exact model.
  • Press from the centre outward to push any air toward the edges.
  • Run a card or your thumbnail along the edges to seat them properly.

The DualSense is the one exception. Its grips are curved, so it needs a brief low-heat step to mold the vinyl into the shape — a hairdryer on low is enough, nothing industrial.

Why bother when the season's only three days old

Because the console isn't just out on matchday. It's on the shelf through the international breaks, the January window, the run-in to May. A design that's good enough for now tends to be what you're looking at for the whole season, not just the first fixture.

It's also the cheapest matchday kit most people forget exists. A shirt runs well over ₹5,000 and fits exactly one person in the house. A console skin is the one thing everyone in the room is looking at when the game's on.

It's not only Premier League clubs

Arsenal and AC Milan are two clubs live on the site right now, but the football range isn't built around one league. La Liga, Serie A, and the other major European seasons run on a similar late-August calendar, so if your club plays outside England, check the football collection directly rather than assuming it's Premier League only — new designs get added as they're cut, and what's listed today isn't the full and final range.

The catalog is deliberately honest about what's actually available: if a club or a specific console variant isn't listed, it isn't ready to ship yet, not on its way at some undefined future point. A precision cut for the wrong model number is worse than no skin at all, so nothing goes up before it's cut and checked against the real device.

Xbox owners aren't an afterthought

The range covers Xbox Series S and Series X as separate cuts, not one generic Xbox skin stretched to fit both. The Series S and Series X are physically different shapes, and a skin that ignores that ends up bunched at the vents on one console and short at the edges on the other. Same high-gloss vinyl, same overlaminate, same no-heat application either way — the only thing that changes is which cut file matches your box.

Before you order

Skins are precision-cut per exact console variant — Standard Digital, Standard Disc, Slim Digital, and Slim Disc are all different cuts, so check which PS5 or Xbox Series S/X you actually own before ordering. Controller skins are sold separately from console skins, so add both to the same order if you want them to match.

Shipping is from India, and every design in the range — Subumi's, and the football range specifically — is original fan art, not club merchandise. If a design isn't listed as available for your exact console variant, it isn't ready yet; the catalog only shows what's actually cuttable to your model.

The short version

Season's live, console isn't dressed for it. Five minutes of application, no heat gun unless it's a controller, and it comes off clean whenever you're done with it — resale value intact. Browse the football skins for PS5 and Xbox, or go straight to PS5 console skins or Xbox console skins to find your exact model.
